How to play

  1. Tap the screen, click, or press Space to start.
  2. A pot swings above your tower. Tap to drop it.
  3. Any part that hangs over the edge is cut off, and the next pot is that narrow.
  4. Land right on top for a Perfect drop: bonus points, a combo, and a slightly wider pot.
  5. Watch out for wind gusts on tall towers. Missing the tower, or a pot that gets too thin, ends the round, and the end screen tells you which.

About this game

Potted Heights is a one-tap timing game about building the tallest tower of plant pots you can. A pot swings back and forth above your tower, and a single tap lets it go. Where it lands matters: any part that hangs over the edge of the pot below breaks off and falls away, so the next pot you get is only as wide as what was left.

Land a pot almost exactly on top of the one below and you score a Perfect drop. Perfect drops are worth bonus points, they build a combo that grows the bonus for up to five drops in a row, and they even give a little width back to your pots. Chain a few together and a narrow, wobbly tower can grow healthy again.

The higher you climb, the harder it gets. The swing speeds up bit by bit, and once the tower is tall, gusts of wind start nudging the swinging pot to one side. Watch for the wind sign and adjust your timing. There is no ceiling: on very tall towers the swing keeps speeding up, the wind keeps getting stronger, and Perfect drops need ever finer timing. The sky changes as you climb, from a bright morning to a warm sunset and finally a starry night, so you can see how far you have come.

A tip: don't rush. Watch one full swing to feel the rhythm, then tap just before the pot lines up with the one below. New pots start well off to one side, so wait for the swing to bring them over. Small misses are fine, but every miss chips a little off your pot, and missing the tower completely or letting a pot get too thin ends the round. Your best score is saved on your device, so every round is a chance to beat it. When a round ends, the page below the game lets you share your score with friends.
