Pick a Level (pickalevel.com) is a website of daily puzzle games. This page explains what information is used when you visit, and the choices you have.

The short version

• There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms.
• Your game progress is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
• Our web host keeps standard technical logs to run and protect the site.

Your game progress

Your results, streaks and stats are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, so they're there next time you play. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse, and they are kept only for a limited time.

Fonts

The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google describes how it handles this in its privacy policy.

Children

Pick a Level is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Emailing us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't share them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site uses information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
